Excellent service, the food was amazing! Very beautiful restaurant. Paula was very sweet & attentive. Edgar came by several times asking if we needed anything else. We really enjoyed ourselves! High recommend!

Enchilada suizas plate deliciousIt was served with creamy black beans and rice. The enchiladas were filled with chicken breast. They were topped with avocado, sour cream, and pickled onions that didn't have an onion flavor (which is a plus for me).Cafe Lechero Devine! It was already sweetened but not overly sweet.I'm craving another cafe already!

This was our first time here. We absolutely loved it. Paola was our server, and she was very attentive and made sure everything was good. The manager stopped by several times to ask us if we needed anything. The food was delicious and the servings were very generous. We will definitely be returning next time we are in Pharr.

I’m 15 and I went here with my family today and personally I think the decor is super cute, it’s clean and the music playing isn’t loud either. The time we spent waiting for food wasn’t long either and the presentation on the food was so delicious looking. I’ll be honest, my family can afford higher prices, personally I think it’s reasonable since the food is freshly made and are rather large in size. I hope this place stays open so I can bring my friends here!! Please try this place out, you won’t regret it!! I even brought home 2 of the deserts since they’re so good.

Been here a handful of times now and have always been served with great service and hospitality. The food always comes exactly how I order and tastes amazing. I was recently served by Marisol and she provided exceptional service and made my experience a great one.

Casa de la Abuela is a HIDDEN GEM! Authentic, mouthwatering dishes made with love, just like Abuela used to make! Cozy atmosphere, impeccable service, and generous portions. Don't miss the arroz con pollo and empanadas - pure perfection! 10/10 would recommend!

This is apparently a new restaurant here in Pharr right across the new bank and corner gas station. 100% a gem!The food here is amazing! The flavors are great, the right amount of seasoning to the food. The breads are fresh, you can see the oven They are baked in right across from the display case. The scent from the fresh bread is wonderful. Many different options and baked in small batches to assure freshness. Take a bite into them and you are greeted with a crispy shell followed by a warm moist interior, and flavors that do not overwhelm. Almost perfectly balanced. We all ordered a little something different so we can taste as many plates as possible, and the waiters recommendations were on point. You can really taste the pride the cooks have when making the food. Got the Taro pancakes and was expecting the Taro sauce to overwhelm the plate but it did not. It went perfect with the pancakes and fruit, highly recommend it as well as the strawberry cream pancakes. The pricing was actually on point for the food and it's serving sizes. I was almost defeated by the pancakes with how large and filling they were. Everyone finished their plates with a bit of a struggle but nonetheless fairly clean plates. The atmosphere was beautiful! It gave off the feeling of being in a little bakery run by a kind little grandma. The waiters were very nice and helpful.Summery:Amazing fresh and good foodAmazing atmosphere feelGood pricingGreat employeesThis is a gem! Highly recommend! We need more places like this here in the valley!

I specifically went to try the desserts, so my review is only for that. I tried the strawberry croissant and the strawberry roulette. They were both delicious. The cream they use is yummy. My favorite was the croissant because it was nice and flaky. The roulette was also delicious but much sweeter, most likely because of the white chocolate it is dipped in. I will definitely go back for these delicious desserts.
